Urumqi-Turpan-Hami-Dunhuang-JiayuguanPass-Lanzhou-Xi’an 12 days
Day1 Beijing-Urumqi (Dihua), Baza Market (L/D)

Morning flight from Beijing to Urumqi (Dihua)- the capital of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, you will be met and transferred to hotel. Followed by a visit of Baza Market. Tour of the city will leave you a deep impression of the life of the minority people.

Day2 Urumqi-Turpan (B/L/D)

The excusion today starts with the tour of Tianchi Lake, which looks like a piece of diamond embedded on top of Mt.Tianshan and reminds you of the fairy tales in Jinyong’s description. Then proceed to Turpan by bus. Roast lamb is served for dinner and the performance by Uigurs is treated.

Day3 Turpan-Hami (B/L/D)

The sightseeing features the ruins of Gaochang, and Grape Valley. Later, visit the ancient underground irrigation system.Take bus to Hami.

Day4 Hami-Dunhuang (B/L/D)

Covers wide area and known as the famous fruit-land, where the Great Balikun Prairie and the White Stone Valley will feast your eyes on an unique view. After lunch, take bus to Dunhuang. Enjoy a special local flavor dinner.

Day5 Dunhuang-Jiayuguan Pass(B/L/D)

The highlight awaiting you today is the visit of Mogao Grottoes, known as the “oriental Pearl of Art”, where you will be deeply touched by immortal pieces of art in sight. Then you will be escorted to visit the Mingsha Hill and the Crescent Moon Pool, where you can find a miraculous mixture of sand and water. You can also take a camel ride to your optional likings. Enjoy a local flavor dinner.

Day6 Jiayuguan Pass- Jiuquan-Zhangye-Wuwei (B/L/D)

In the morning, take bus to Jiayuguan Pass, the west end of the Great Wall, which was built in Ming Dynasty over 600 years ago. And take bus to Jiuquan and visit the famous Jiuquan Park. Followed by a visit of Big Budda Temple in Zhangye, which was built in Xixia dynasty. Then continue the bus journey to WuWei where you will enjoy the local flavor dinner.

Day7 Wuwei-Lanzhou ( B/L/D)

Today, arrived Lanzhou- the capital of Gansu Province. Visit the first Iron Bridge over the Yellow River, White Pagoda, and the Five Spring Mountain, deluxe train to Xi’an.

Day 8 Lanzhou-Xi'an (B/L/D) 

We will take tour to the Bell Tower Square and the Old City Wall.

Day 9 Xi'an (B/L/D)

Terra Catta, Warriors and Horses, the tomb of Qin Shi Huang
After breakfast, you will visit the life-sized Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses buried with the first emperor- QinShiHuang for more than two thousand years and the tomb of Qin Shi Huang. You will have Dumpling Dinner, followed by the Tang Dynasty show.

Day10 Xi'an-Home(B/L)

Visit the 1000 years old Wild Goose Pagoda and transfer to the airport and back Home.
